Stop Press.......

The following message was received, from our consultant engineer in Kenya, on the 18th August 2009.

"The drought situation is very serious: some maasai have moved as far as Mombasa and Arusha in search of pasture.  In one of our mobile clinic stations 3 people have died of hunger.  This year heavy El Nino rains are expected and rain harvest projects could help people for the future."

Projects Supported by KDDT[UK] have included:

>  The provision of safe & secure water sources.

>  Provision of Schools, Churches and multi-purpose buildings.

>  Provision of desks, books and other school equipment.

>  Relief aid when and where appropriate.

If you would like to receive a DVD showing some of the projects we have been involved with, please email us with your details.

On the left is a short video introducing the work of KDDT[UK].  This may take a little while to load.  Please make sure your speakers are turned on.  Refresh the page to see the video again.

SAFE WATER?

One of KDDT[UK]'s major commitments is funding the provision of safe water supplies for the local communities of the Kajiado District.  The picture on the left shows the sort of Drilling Rig we have available.  We are also involved with the provision of water catchments.  Please click on the picture on the left for details of what we have been involved in.
