KDDT[UK] Resources in Kenya.
KDDT[UK] do not have any registered offices in Kenya but are represented through our partner organisation, the Kajiado District Development Organisation (KDDO), a NGO in Kenya.
To date funding for all projects has been directed through Mr Piero Langiu, who has had the role of our Project Manager/Consultant Engineer within Kenya. Mr Langiu is also an officer of the KDDO.
Mr Langiu does not get paid any salary for managing this work but gets paid expenses and appropriate (limited) consultancy fees for the work he actually does on the individual projects.
KDDT[UK] with the help of Rotary Clubs in the UK and Europe have purchased three items of capital equipment. These are:
ABEM Terrameter (Water Survey equipment)
Dando Buffalo 3000 Drilling Rig and associated items.
4WD Toyota Land-Cruiser Pick-up.
These are used by Mr Piero Langiu and our partners the KDDO in Kenya on all KDDT[UK] funded activities plus other approved activities. Guidelines (agreed by the KDDO) have been put in place by KDDT[UK] for this use.
